MDCB would like to further enhance the attractiveness of the (relatively) new Wheeling Avenue promenade by hanging flower baskets from the light posts which are already in place. This project will require the purchase of brackets for the posts and the hanging baskets, along with a process for watering and maintaining the flowers. It is our hope to accomplish this project by August 2009. Grants from … and donations from Lowe’s have made this project possible. In the future, we hope to hang 12 more baskets on Wheeling spanning to Minnetrista. |
